Terms of service & teleconsultation consent

These terms apply to online consultations with Dr. Your Name (MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), Reg. No. 00000, State Medical Council) booked through this website, operated by Varam Initiatives.

Teleconsultation

• Consultations take place by video over Google Meet, in line with India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
• By booking, you consent to being assessed and treated by video. A video consultation has limits: there is no physical examination, and the doctor may advise an in-person visit or tests if needed.
• At the start of the call you'll be asked to confirm your name and age, and may be asked to show a photo ID.
• Some medicines cannot legally be prescribed through teleconsultation. The doctor decides what is appropriate for you.
• Please join from a private place. Consultations are not recorded by the practice, and you may not record them without the doctor's written consent.
• Consultations are for adults aged 18 and over.

Emergencies

This service is not suitable for emergencies. If you or someone else is at immediate risk, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or emergency services on 112, or go to the nearest hospital.

Bookings and payment

• An appointment is confirmed only after full payment through Razorpay.
• Please join on time. If you join late, the consultation will still end at the scheduled time.
• If the doctor needs to cancel, you will be offered a new time or a full refund.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our cancellation & refund policy.

Prescriptions and records

Any prescription is issued digitally and sent to you by email. The practice keeps consultation records as required by the National Medical Commission and applicable law.
